Rebecca McClive is one of our new artists. She is from Ft. Collins, Colo. She does some beautiful paintings of Yellowstone National Park. I met her when she did one of the Buffalo Roam at West Yellowstone, Mt.
She will be in room #16 in the Historic rooms of the Irma Hotel.

CODY ART SHOW Artist Mary Michael

Mary Michael is one of our original Cody Art Show members. She has been with us all 3 years. She is a sculptor and lives in Bridger, MT. She is getting very well known around the country. A monument of Sacagawea and Pomp stands in Livingston, MT and was done by Mary. Visit Marys room #29 during the show. Sept 23-25 upstairs in the Irma Hotel. Mary will also be sculpting on the porch of the Irma on Thurs and possibly at other times during the show.

Lynn Jordan lives in Boulder City, NV. She is a new member of our group this year. Many of her works are wood burnings pyrographic. Hope I have that right, they are beautiful. She also works in oils and pastels. She states many of her works are National Parks.

Elene is from Stevensville, Mt. She works in pastels and oils and loves Plein Air Painting. Visit her room, #35, during the show. Chances are you will find her painting in her room.

3rd Annual Cody Art Show at the Irma Hotel

The 3rd Annual Cody Art Show is coming up fast now. It will be Sept. 23-25 upstairs in the Historic Irma Hotel. We have activities planned this year and one is called the Pony Express Paint Out. We will start this large canvas on Thursday in the Boot Skooten Boogie Street Fair. We will paint on it two at a time, pushing the other out of the way and doing our thing. We hope to have an actual painting when we get done. Plus we have 19 artists this year in the 15 historic rooms. Besides Wyoming, our artists come from Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, California, Washington and several from Montana. Make your plans to be in Cody for Rendezvous Royale Week.

WILLISTON WILD BUNCH ART SHOW

I am getting ready to go to the first Williston Wild Bunch Art Show in Williston, ND Sept. 10-12. Artists and some loyal Williston fans have organized this show after the Roughrider Show quit after so many years. I am really excited to get to go and visit old friends and patrons in Williston again. Hope to see you there.
