The Blue Buffalo Artists Show in Red Lodge

This Photo is our display at the Chocolate Event held at the Rock Creek Resort in Red Lodge on Febuary 11.
It was a wonderful week end and I want to get more photos posted on here. The reception for the Depot Gallery show was on Friday. It snowed all day and was really a beautiful week end, just hurt attendence but it is winter after all.

Pen and Ink Paintings from this winter

Two paintings done this winter. The Pack Train is from a trip up the south fork last fall and the winter scene is the view from my studio window looking south.

Display at the First Bank of Wyoming, Powell

"Out of the Dust" framed print on display at my display at the Fist Bank in Powell. Plus I do have that print unframed. The display will be at the Bank until Dec 31. Berna Ost and I are both displaying our work there this month. Stop in and see it.

My display at the Bank in Powell. Berna and I both have the display and we have alot of room. It will hang until December 30, 2011 so anyone in the Powell area stop in and see it. Our press release was in the Powell paper and the Cody Paper so that was nice.

Open House and Christmas sale at Cody Country Art Leage

The Cody Country Art League is having it's annual Christmas show, inviting members and members of the community to display arts and crafts tell Christmas. This Saturday, Nov. 19, it is Open House from 9-5 at the Art League.
My art, "Big Harry" is on sale as well as a few Christmas cards of him.

Feels like Winter

"Mountain Winter" Small pen and ink I did few years back. But past two days brings winter to mind. Beartooth pass closed yesterday and roads in YNP were closed part of the day because of snow. Not ready for that yet. Now the sun has come out and very pretty out.

It has been awhile since I have put anything on here so here are some newer pieces. All these paintings for sale and will most likely be in my room at the Cody Art Show Upstairs in the Irma Hotel. The photo of Heart Mountain is just from my own camera. It has been professionally scanned but don't have the image as yet and I wanted it on here as this is the big opening of the Heart Mountain Interpretive Center.

Summer already

I can not believe it has been April since I wrote in here. Terrible. Need to get going again. Just seems the time is flying by. Trying to work on the 4th annual Cody Art Show and not getting very far. But it will be the best ever, see if it isn't.

Two New Paintings

I have had 2 of the Law prints framed. These are handmade barnwood frames from BJ's Framing in Powell, WY. They do a fantastic job and are so reasonealbe. The prints unframed are still $25.00 at this time but if anyone wants a framed ones, add $50.00 Total $75.00. This includes mats and glass that cuts the ultra ray light.

BETA Show, Cody, Wyoming

Four of us have hung a few of our paintings in the Beta for 3 weeks. Berna Loy Ost, Nancy Ferrington, Melody Cristensen, and Pat Schermerhorn. You will be able to see all of our work in September at the Irma Hotel at the Cody Art Show, don't miss us. The Beta show started today, April 2 and ends April 23. "The Law" limited edition Print by Pat Schermerhorn

"The Law" will be sold as limited edition giclee prints with an edition of 100. The print will be 6x7 inchs. Just a tiny bit smaller than the original which was done in pen and ink pointillism. At this time these will be sold for $25.00 per print. Contact me if you are interestesd.

Winter is Back

This winter scene I did a few years ago and was my Christmas card that year. Fits today, it is cold, breezy and snowing a little. We are lucky and not getting like some places but still winter.
The painting is for sale and I do have it on hand.
I am staying by the fire today, hope you are too.

Ranchs, Wranglers, Chocolate, Pollard Hotel in Red Lodge

this is my donation for the fundraiser at the Pollard Hotel in Red Lodge, Montana to be held on Feb 12, 2011. This benifits the Carbon County arts Guild and the Food Cubboard of Red Lodge. This small painting is 5x8 and done in pen and ink. It is an old log cabin in Sunlight Basin, Wyoming

Montana and Wyoming, Past and Present. Pat Schermerhorn

My show in Red Lodge, Montana will open Tuesday. I delivered 38 pieces of art to them yesterday. Plus a donation painting "Sunlight Cabin" for the Pollard fundraiser. there are actually two of us featured, Jane Stanfel, from Montana. Have not met her yet and look forward to that. We will both be there for the reception for us on Feb 11 and the fundraiser at the Pollard on the 12th.
