Colored Pencil Sketch of mine

Yesterday was the Annual Garden Tour put on by the Master Gardeners and the Cody Country Art League. There were 6 gardens and each had a couple of artists painting and a master gardener to answer questions. Was a really nice day. Berna Ost and I were in the same garden. We each did a small bird house that were hanging on the fence around the garden. Mine is done in colored pencil on mat board. It was framed and auctioned at the sale after the tour. This was my 5th year and what beautiful gardens we get to go to. Always look forward to going each year.

Berna's painting done at the Garden Tour

This is a small oil of a bird house and just as cute as it can be.

Newest work, "Little Cowgirl"

My newest piece. I will be getting this framed and will be on view at the Cody Art Show Sept 22-24, 2011. I will be in room 20 again

Summer already

I can not believe it has been April since I wrote in here. Terrible. Need to get going again. Just seems the time is flying by. Trying to work on the 4th annual Cody Art Show and not getting very far. But it will be the best ever, see if it isn't.

My Work Hanging at Moose Creek Furniture & Art

I have a few pieces hanging at Moose Creek on consignment..She has fixed a space for me to display. I will taking in more, just got to decide what. Located on Beck Ave. in Cody.

Two New Paintings

Two new pieces I just had scanned and ready for framing.
"Woman Power" colored pencil, One of our fantastic models who sat for us this winter.
"Man In Black" pen and ink. Actually one I did quite awhile ago but just had it scanned.

"THE LAW" framed print by Pat Schermerhorn

I have had 2 of the Law prints framed. These are handmade barnwood frames from BJ's Framing in Powell, WY. They do a fantastic job and are so reasonealbe. The prints unframed are still $25.00 at this time but if anyone wants a framed ones, add $50.00 Total $75.00. This includes mats and glass that cuts the ultra ray light.

Happy Easter. It is a gorgeous day in Cody, Wyoming
