I have the geese about done on my big Bear.

My Quick Draw at the Lincoln Day Dinner

Titled Wyoming Skies because that would cover a multitude of things. This took a little over an hour and was alot of fun. They had a sell out crowd so lots of people to watch us work. The meal was fabulous. When we left it was snowing and blowing like crazy. But only got a couple of inchs out of it.

Lulabelle

My buffalo calf, Poppy, has a twin sister, Lulabelle. Painted by Robin Berry. We both did Buttercup, the full sized buffalo last year. Lulabelle will be covered with the wildflowers of Yellowstone.

A Start on the Bears

I have gotten started on the Bear.
The one on the left is a 9 inch mini of the big bear and I have started my plan on him. The big one on the right is just getting started. Putting geese flying along his neck Hopefully the design will start showing up in a day or two.

Pen and Ink Workshop with Horses

I have been asked to do a workshop in Vassalboro, Maine.
October 2-6, 2008. You can take 2 or more days. This is just one of the horses on the farm. It is 75 acres of fields, woods and ponds. Vassalboro is close to Augusta.
Robin Berry will be helping me with this workshop and will teach drawing to kids if you want to bring your child.
For all the information go to http://sitekreator.com/neeae
October should be a beautiful month in Maine.
I plan on spending at least 1/2 of each day actually sketching the horses and 1/2 day in the classroom.

Poppy, Buttercups Calf

Last year I painted Buttercup, a life size Buffalo for West Yellowstone, MT. She stood in front of the Museum there through last summer. Now I am painting her calf, Poppy. This needs to be done and to West Yellowstone by April 1. I have a start, my theme is "Babys of Yellowstone National Park" Actually Poppy has a twin. Robin Berry helped with Buttercup and she is also painting one of the calves. I will keep posting pictures as we progress. We have a bunch of critters to paint. Poppy, the Grizzly and a small Grizzly. All to be done by April 1, did I say this year

My Grizzly Bear

Well, my grizzly has finally arrived. As you can see he is a little guy. At least 5 feet high, 5 feet wide. Have until the first of April to get him painted. I will post pictures as he progresses. Right now he does not have a name but one will come. I am thinking Onslo but that may change. I am open for ideas. This is a project for the Park County Library Childrens section here in Cody. There is also a website. www.grizgathering.com
