The Thursday Night Group show at Beta Cafe

Our 4th annual show featuring the 2009 models was hung at the Beta Cafe this morning.
Helping were Susie Fish Rodriquez, Melody Christensen, Kimber Swenson, Robin Berry, Dave Kewitt and me.
We had some great help from a very nice person from Sheridan, who was innocently drinking soda. Bob Thompson and his wife, Joyce, were in Cody for a visit. Thank you so much for your great help. Joyce is a quilter and has a website, www.bluemoosequilts.com. She also creates patterns for quilts.
The show will hang from June 20 to July 11, 2009. On Thursday, June 25 we will have a reception. The public is invited to meet the artists and enjoy the art. The reception is 5 to 6 PM on Thursday night.
The photos show Bob Thompson and Susie hanging sketchs and the other photo is the group and is Melody, Kimber, Joyce and Bob Thompson, Robin, Me and Dave.

Second Place in Graphics at CCAL Show

My small painting of Mama Griz and cubs took second place at the 44th Annual Cody Country Art Show.

Painted Little Girl by Anne West

My friend, Anne West, of Bismarck, North Dakota painted this cute little flower girl. Named Daisy Rose Wildflower. She joined Buttercup and Onslow as painted critters.
The newspaper article does not show up well. But this is a fundraiser for the Manchester House in Bismarck. Anne has taught art to kids there for many years

June Snow

This is what we woke up to this morning. At least 4 to 5 inchs piled up. All the trees bent and bushs a mess. Our power was off an hour or so. The bush is a lilac bush that usually hides the street, it is so tall. Not this morning.
