We are through with our 2nd annual Cody Art Show. It went very well. Most of us did pretty good and pleased with it. We had 14 rooms with all types of fine art. The 3rd is in the plans

Award at the Wyoming Historical Luncheon

Saturday I went to the luncheon at Northwest College in Powell to the Wyoming Historical Soc. Luncheon. They gave out alot of awards. Mine was for fine art for my painting of "The Crossing" coming out of the Thorofare.
The award was for 2008-2009 accpomplishments in the promotoion and preservation of Wyoming History in the field of Fine Arts for the Crossing.
Mom and Robin Berry went with me. It was a very nice lunch and I was very honored.

One of my newest paintings "Beefcake" will be on display at the Cody Art Show Upstairs at the Historic Irma Hotel, Sept. 24-26, 2009. Visit my display room #20, the Colonal Cody Room. I'll have original art, prints and cards. Hope to see you there. I will also be sketching the models at Boot Scooten Boogie on Thursday night, the 24. This will be on Sheridan Ave from 5 to 8.

Sketching in Yellowstone Park

Spent the day setting in front of the Old Faithful Inn sketching. Saw Old Faithful go off twice while we were there. Was a great day. Had to stop for three herds of buffalo on our way home. Normal.
